Custom Display Case for The TYCO #8920 Dale Earnhardt GM Stock Car #2 "WRANGLER".
This beautiful custom and hand crafted jewel display box is purposefully designed to display the rare Blue & Yellow #2 "WRANGLER", which NEVER came with its own Jewel Display Case.  TYCO released this car in 1982 only!
Dale Earnhardt's 1979 rookie season became the benchmark for all newcomers.  He won 1 race, 4 poles, 11 Top 5's and 17 Top 10's, to finish 7th in the Winston Cup standings despite missing 4 races due to injuries suffered at Pocono. He won “Rookie of the Year” honors.  He continued to race the #2 WRANGLER in 1980, winning 5 times to become the 1st and only man to win Rookie of the Year and the NASCAR Winston Cup Championship in successive seasons.
Dale raced the blue and yellow Wrangler car 78 times before taking the wheel of the legendary RCR black #3 GOODWRENCH car to be come “The Intimidator.”  Earnhardt was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame inaugural class in 2010.
The #2 WRANGLER was offered for only 1 year, making this car very rare and highly prized by HO Slot collectors.
These cars are very hard to find and they are very pricey!  Pristine versions are especially costly.  If any car deserves a dedicated Jewel Display Case, surely this is one of them!  If maintained in near pristine condition over time, the #2 "WRANGLER" Earnhardt car should hold or even increase in value.  Here is your chance to proudly DISPLAY, as well as, PROTECT your prized collectible!
