I've made Run in Treadmill Testbeds for Lionel trains for over 10 years and decided to apply the concept to Slot cars.  This handy unit is extremely versatile with its 3 power options.  The first is a simple 9v battery which is INCLUDED and goes in the unit.  Flip the switch to 9v battery and you're ready to go!  The second is a DC power supply which is also INCLUDED.  Simply flip the switch to DC and the slot car will get its power from the DC Supply.  Third is the INCLUDED power cable.  It has alligator clips which you can attach to any supply you may have or to the end of your track. With this versatility you can break in your slots or test them just about anywhere.
How many times have you bought a car at a flea market and the Seller tells you it runs great only to get it home and find that it's dead?  With this unit on hand, this will never happen again!
What makes this unit incredibly efficient are the 4 roller bearings used for the rear wheels.  They run on a stainless steel shaft providing nearly zero drag.  This allows you to get maximum life from the 9v battery while running your car when power isn't available.
The Treadmill also has 2 adjustable speed control options which makes it perfect for slowly breaking in your cars and testing at all speeds.  The Speed Control knob on the unit has full range.  Flip the switch to Hand Control and use your own Controller with Alligator clips on the side of the unit. The Unit has standard controller connections, Power, Brake & Track.
