    Description

RARE! Seven Dollars Continental Currency, July 22, 1776.  Nice, bold note, printed at almost at the same time as the Declaration of Independence, in July, in 1776, in Philadelphia.  On top of that, the printer of the note, Hall & Sellers, was a Philadelphia printing company originally established by Benjamin Franklin. The emblem is of a severe storm at sea.  Above it, in Latin is SERENABIT, “It will be calm”.  A lot of American history on one piece of paper!!
